With more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, Yves was – beside his work at the comdivision group – also involved with successfully launching several (IT) startup companies. As a keynote speaker at industry events covering, cloud, business development and entrepenurship he is always ensuring a cheered up event. He was honoured several times by vendors and customers for his capability of transporting highly technical IT concepts to regular IT consumers using their language. His clientele primarily consists of enterprises and service providers, for whom he designs sophisticated private, public, and hybrid cloud solutions tailored to their specific requirements.

Besides having been accredited with the highest certification there is, the VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX), Yves holds an extensive range of VMware certifications, from VCP3 up to VCDX-CMA, VCIX-CMA, VCIX-NV, VCIX-DCV, CKA and MEF-SDWAN. He is also a VMware Certified Instructor L2, and as well as an AWS Certified Cloud Practioner and Solutions Architect. Yves is a vExpert since 2014.

Yves Sandfort is also a licensed private pilot License for single-engine plane, which he enjoys using when possible. Since his wife, Christina Sandfort, gave birth to their two children, he also begun to get back into running, joining her whenever he is home.
