After updating Horizon View to 8.3, the Web browser access doesn't work anymore. Here's how to fix it.

Lately, I have been doing quite some work on VMware vSphere with Tanzu. A prerequisite to configure vSphere with Tanzu is a load balancer of some sort. Currently the following are supported, HAProxy, the NSX-T integrated load balancer or the NSX Advanced Load Balancer (ALB). (Support for the NSX ALB was added with the release of vSphere 7 U1.)

Some time ago I wrote an article about vRO 8.0 and first steps. Now with version 8.4 I decided to write a second article, checking if anything changed what I pointed out in my last article, or if there are some cool new features or new glimpses.

I recently had to upgrade two log insight instances for a customer from 4.x to 8.x. This was a manual process in two phases (you have to upgrade to 4.8 first).

Recently, I had to install an older version of vRealize Automation, being more precisely, version 8.0.1, which is still downloadable from the Homepage of VMware and is officially still supported. Why, that’s a different story.

I decided to write an article, because starting with the official documentation, I found, that the documentation has just been copied from a previous version and is not matching VMware Cloud Director anymore.

Up until mid last year Kubernetes was not high on my radar and to be honest we did not have it as a focus area for the comdivision group. We don't really have any big internal development which at that point in time could have leveraged Kubernetes, neither did any of our customers back then really attempt to build anything cloud native thou creating demand.
