Fabian Lenz

Fabian is having a strong practical background in virtualization and datacenter technologies, he combines hands-on expertise with the methodologies gained during his academic career (Master of Science – International Information Systems).

His main professional focus is built around VMware solutions, where he has developed deep technical knowledge validated through multiple vendor certifications. Beyond VMware, he brings a broad understanding of IT service and infrastructure management, along with solid experience in programming, automation, project management, and software development. He is always combining this with a mindset of turning complexity into something understandable and actionable.

Over the past years, he has had the privilege of being among the first VMware Cloud Foundation Broadcom Knights, representing technical excellence and thought leadership within the global VMware ecosystem. In addition to his technical work, he is part of the comdivision leadership team, where he contributes to shaping business strategies and ensuring project success across our organization.

Outside the architectural deep dives, he enjoys presenting (whether it’s moderating at public events in an engaging way or taking the stage as a technical speaker to share insights from the field). What drives him most is helping people understand complex systems, simplify them, and ultimately make technology work for them.
